How can I get Siri to spell my name right?

Whenever I dictate my name to Siri, she spells Michele with two Ls and I only have one in my name. I've tried the general and email settings to fix this but she still doesn't get it right. Any suggestions?

Nope, does not work for me. Siri only recognizes me as the English version "Geoff." Maybe it's because I chose an Australian accent for Siri?!?

Yes, "Geoff" would be the more usual in Australia. You should chose the language for Siri that most closely matches your own accent and preferred spelling. You may like the sound of the voice better in some other accent but it's likely to cause practical problems.

My name has always been spelled correctly in my Contacts but I went thru the editing process you suggested just in case. It did not help. I also reset My Info in the contact Settings to be sure Siri knew who I was but she is still spelling my name wrong. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

Did you enter the spelling in the phonetic first name field for your contact exactly as it appears when you dictate now (with two Ls)? If you did and it still doesn't work now it's possible that changes in Siri during the last 9 months have caused this solution not to work anymore.
