Buying a iPad from Walmart

If you bought a iPad from Walmart. How do you go about warranty when you have a problem with it. Can it still go to apple or will it have to go to Walmart

If an item is just plain defective right out of the box (e.g. does not even power on, is broken, or missing accessories), you might want to exchange it for another one, rather than deal with a warranty repair through Apple.


Walmart among many retailers has special return/exchange policies in effect for purchases during a certain time period around the Christmas holiday. If you purchased the iPad between November 1 and December 24th, you must return it with a receipt within 15 days of Dec. 26th:
