Do you have subject turned on? Have you set up iMessage in Settings?
Subject is turned on and I have setup iMessage in settings. My send button is disabled for some reason
Why would my iPod's on-off button decide to break after just one year of using it? I only use it to turn the iPod nano on and off, but now it's broken. Over working?
If subject is turned on do you have something typed in the Subject: field?
You need to post your own thread in the iPod Nano forum. This is the iPad forum.
I've tried both ways. When I did my setup there was only an option for an email address. No place to put in my cellular data number. Is that normal?
Yes, that is normal the iPad is not a phone and as such cannot due SMS texting.
Try turning the Subject field off in settings and see if it works.
Ok. Tried that just now. Still no send button. It's a ghost button
Got it. Was trying to send to someone who was not ios5.0
Thank you for attempting to help :)
We had same problem with IPad 2 in IMessage. Worked first time, but could not send reply. I FINALLY turned off subject line and now it seems to work just fine. Was just about to call Apple Care. Good luck.
