After updating to iTunes 10.5.2, you cannot scroll up or down with the scroll arrows.
The lists only move two clicks when you hold the arrow. There is really is a bug.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Same problem here.
Same issue - only happens in album view mode. When viewing albums in list/details mode, arrows re-appearing on the right side scrolling bar.
Sounds like you are saying the scroll arrows disappear entirely. That is not my issue: they are always visible but only move the list one or two positions as was noted in the original comment. This problem exists for me in all view modes -- not only Album View.
JWXYZ -- same for me. My arrows are always there but when I hold it down, the screen only moves one or two clicks.
You could move to Lion where scroll arrows cease to exist.

Really Annoyed is exactly right. This seems such a simple problem that it's crazy that it can't be solved.
Is it anything to do with iTunes being "overloaded" with files.
I have approx 130GB of music - and about half of them are AIFF files. Does that make a difference?
