Using Airport Express With 100MB Ethernet

Hello,

I have a Linksys E1000 router, 2.4ghz N (Mixed with G). I also have an Airport Express (Latest Generation) which I would like to use 5GHZ N with for my iMac, Laptop, and Xbox 360. Several devices don't support N in my house, and that is why I am not just using only the AE. I want to setup the AE with the Ethernet ports on my router, but they are only 100MB. Would this really slow me down using 5GHZ N on the AE? I know that I can get speeds over 100mb with N, and that is what conserns me.

Thanks

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 2GHZ C2D 2.5GB 1TB

The AirPort Express has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, (not 100 MB), so despite what the wireless connection speed might indicate, the fastest speed on the AirPort Express portion of the network would be 100 Mbps.

If this is a concern, then you might want to take a look at the AirPort Extreme, which has 1000 Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet capability. With a good wirelesss connection at 5 GHz, you should be able to pick up 250-270 Mbps speeds or a bit higher with the AirPort Extreme.
