broken ipod touch,

I own a 1st, 2nd, and 4th generation ipod touch, but they are all basically messed up. The second generation screen is all broken and wont even charge or turn on! My question is, ive heard you can pay 100$ and exchange it for a new one, is that true and will they change it if my ipod is THAT messed up? and If they will, will i be getting the newest ipod touch? or will they have the same generation im fixing?

- If you purchase a new iPod Apple will give you a 10% discount for recycling if you turn an old one in.

- Apple will also exchage you iPod for one of the same model/capacity as an out-of-warranty repair for this price.

The IPod you turn in has to be repairable, it can't be in pieces but can have a broken screen ando ther problems.
