Like mentioned above, but if you are locked out:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
Go into Settings & turn your existing passcode off. Then turn it back on & enter your new passcode.
I have no option to turn off my passcode
Settings/General/ Passcode Lock - On or Off. If you can't turn it off scroll down and tap Profile. If there is a security profile present this means that you have an MS Exchange email account and your server administrator requires the phone to have a passcode.
You should have one anyway. Think about your phone being lost or stolen. Is there anything on it that you wouldn't want the thief, or the police, or your Significant Other to see? Any contacts who you wouldn't want to be bombarded with spam when the finder or thief sells your contact list? Or just sends spam from the phone?
