I have a iPad 1 and two iPhones 3 gs . I currently have a dell laptop connected to my Sony flat screen tv and have seen the tv apple box. I would like to connect the tv apple box to the tv screen via my ipad 1 but I use Skype alot so how do I contact a USB webcam?
i believe you can only simulcast/mirror ipad 2 content..so running Skype on Ipad 2 will allow you to view the screen on your TV via aTV.....
I believe it would be big selling feature (and differentiator) if Apple added support for a Webcam to Facetime (and/or Skype) with existing Apple TV models via the Micro-USB port (currently used for service and support). If this isn't possible, support for a webcam should be added as a feature on new Apple TV models. Currently you can only mirror your iphone/ipad/laptop your facetime event to an apple TV. This hinders an easy, relaxed facetime/skype event with multiple people since it uses the camera on the iphone.ipad/laptop and not a webcam on top of the TV.

You can send feedback on Apple products via Apple - Feedback. For specific Apple TV comments or suggestions, use Apple TV - Feedback. You will not get a response, but you can be certain that the responsible Apple people will see your input for consideration in TV product development.
