Hi, which is it,- 36 or -39???\\
-36 ioErr I/O error (bummers)
-39 eofErr End of file; no additional data in the format
ups:/ -36. sorry!
-36 generally means a drive disconnected before completion, but never saw it with ftp yet.
Open Console in Applications>Utilities, try to connect again & see if we get any more clues in Console.
Is this ftp Server local or Remote?
Are you connecting by IP, Name, or Browse?
it's many like that:
11-12-15 21:59:22 [0x0-0xe00e].com.apple.finder[256] SimplyBurnsCMPlugIn->MenuEvent_Handle: {ref: 006C3F30, first: Yes, context: 00020200}.
11-12-15 21:59:22 [0x0-0xe00e].com.apple.finder[256] SimplyBurnsCMPlugIn->MenuEvent_Handle->CopyMenuTitleAsCFString: "Menu".
11-12-15 21:59:22 [0x0-0xe00e].com.apple.finder[256] MenuEvent_Handle!
11-12-15 21:59:22 [0x0-0xe00e].com.apple.finder[256] SimplyBurnsCMPlugIn->MenuEvent_Handle->CFBundleCopyResourceURL is NULL.
p.s. server is remote and i am connecting by name
In a browser or ftp agent try entering the IP, like...
ftp://128.205.32.24
I'd try a couple of other ftp clients like CyberDuck or Captain ftp...
http://www.macorchard.com/filetransfer/
Though I use TransmitX myself...
ok, i think i have to give up. i will find some another program (it is sad that something so basic is not working).
p.s. thanks a lot for your interest!
OK, good luck! 🙂
