Syncing iBooks And newsstand between devices

iBooks and newsstand items don't sync between devices, but you can redownload iBooks on another device or have them automatically download when you purchase on another device.

Yes it seems quite a logical improvement to me, being able sync your daily newsreader or the book you're reading and where you are up to.

This is a user to user community, Apple are unlikely to read your comments, if you have any suggestions that you think might enhance iCloud you can send Apple your feedback here.

Sorry to butt in here, but unless I'm misunderstanding, then newspapers, magazines and books will appear on all your devices UNLESS they are designed for one platform only.

For example, T3 magazine will only go to your iPad as it was only designed for that platform, but something like MacUser or PC Gamer will appear on all devices. Generally, anything that is a simple pdf version of the printed version will appear on all devices.

Similarly, any purchases on iBooks should appear on all your devices.

Thank you your quite correct, its non purchased books that don't sync which is essentially what I'm using iBooks for. i.e. my business brochures etc etc.

Silly question, but are you using the same iTunes account on both devices? All books should certainly appear on both your devices. They do for me, as do all magazines that were designed for both.

Open 'Newstand' click on 'Store' then click on 'Updates' then 'Purchased' then scroll down and look for the magazines and newspapaers you have already downloaded, the click on the small cloud with the down arrow to the right of the item and this will then download it to your device.

It worked for me....
