iTunes Match Canada
When I try to subscribe to Itunes Match Canada, it tells me "Could not purchase "Itunes Match". An Unknown Error Occured (5002). There was an error in Itunes Store. Please try again Iater.

also to note... Itunes match DOES show up in itunes on the left as well in the itunes store. I click on the "subscribe" button, enter my password. "accessing Itunes store" Then quickly changes to "Purchasing Music match" then the above error comes up.
plus one .. . Credit Card is ok .. . maybe Apples servers are just overloaded .. . frustrating, been waiting for this for a while
tried downloading other music off itunes... no problem, tried restarting itunes, no change. Tried updating itunes, no update. apple technicians were unsure. Said to try again tomorrow. I will let everyone know if I have the same problem tomorrow.
from Canada too and am getting the same error msg.

Hi, i'm from canada and I was having the same problem (error 5002)
Just go in your acount options and remove your credit card.
Retry buying itunes match, and then it should ask you to link a credit card to continue your purchase, so just re-enter your credit card info and click ok!
it work great for me (sorry for my english I come from Quebec(french)...)
If it doesn't work, I would do what that Apple Technician said and just wait until tomorrow. It's a new thing, and there's bound to be tons of people trying to use it at once.

As guillaume indicates, erasing your CC info from your acct and re-adding when signing up does the trick.
