Has anyone been able to use a Dell V313w printer with a MacBook Pro? Have tried drivers from Dell and Lexmark (Impact S305) with no success. While installing the drivers, you hear the printer initiallizing but it will not print a document.

You aren't the only one with this question. If you monitor the "More Like This" box (top right), other threads appear. Opening them usually displays other threads.

I've been able to get the V313 to print but I cannot get the Macbook Pro to find it when trying to scan. For printing, get the Lexmark printer driver software from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1397 and choose the S300 to S400 series when adding the printer under System Prefs.
Some people can scan using the application Image Capture. Doesn't work for everyone.
I'd sure like to know how people got Image Capture to work with the V313. Image Capture and Preview do not find the device attached to my MacBook Pro running 10.8.2 via USB.
Someone else pointed me to http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/dell-v313?dri verId=GTX2H&osCode=MAC1&fileId=3103946661 and now I can get Image Capture and Preview to scan in files. I don't know if this is also the printer driver---it may take one driver for printing and another driver for scanning.
