My Charger Started to spark

Hello,

Last night when I plugged in my charger for my iphone 4S it started to send sparks everywhere, it melted my gold chain, ruined my extension cord and fried the charger completely.

How would I go about contacting apple about this. The charger was clearly defective and could have caused damage to me and it already caused damage to my personal property.

At the very least do you think they will replace my chain? (it was expensive and the only thing I really care about.)

If not would I have a claim against apple for negligence or a defective item?

Thanks

iPhone 4S

Take the charger to your nearest Apple Store and they will exchange it. Take the extension cord back and get your money back for it. How do you know which one was defective?

As far as the gold chain unless you held it over the flame (not sparks) for an extended period it would never have melted so they are not going to buy that story. If you are going to pursue that you need to retain a law firm and file. Be sure to bring your gold ingot that you now have.
