How to reset MacBook Pro (Late 2011) to factory defaults

From a Macbook pro user guide, resetting it to factory defaults just takes unplugging the power supply, remove battery, and press the start button for at least 5 seconds. However, i could not find instructions for Macbook pros with built-in batteries...seems it is discouraged for end users to remove built-in batteries. Is there an alternate way to reset the hard drive in a new Macbook pro (late 2011) to factory defaults? Or is it done the same and I need to bring it in to an Apple store to have it done?
