I had the same problem. Things appear to be back to normal here in France (although I guess this is not a France related problem).
At the same time I even had issues logging in to this Discussions portal...
Now all working fine.
Havng the same problem.. I was in the middle of watching a rental i had down loaded last night.. Movie stopped and Apple TV asked for my itunes ID and password.. to cut a long story short.. the itunes ( via TV or computer) does not recognise either my ID or my password.. telling me at different times that both are non existent.. when I tried to create a new account with that email address as my ID it told me it was already in existance despite having told me it did not exist moments before.. then told me I had a fatl internal error.. 15minutes on phone waiting for support and then phone dropped out.. back on line waiting now.. Just bought Apple TV yesterday and first movie tonight.. not a happy customer! Are others having similar problems?
The same here.
Neither my iPhonem nore my iPad, nore iTunes is able to log into my account.
Even trying to login to my iCloud account does not work.
When I check my appl id on the Apple website (My Apple ID) I get the message, that I am not known there (neither my apple id nore my @me.com adress).
HELP!

Same problem here. On all devices. Then I just noticed that it is demanding a password that MUST contain numbers, lowercase AND uppercase letters.
My old password has always had two, but not all three of those. So I changed my passsword (on all devices) and now back to normal. Hope this might help others....
Getting into this issue again !!
iTunes Store does not accept the Apple ID password. If a wrong password is entered, it alarms about an 'incorrect password' but when the password on the account is entered it loops back to request for re-entering the credentials. 😟
Did this issue ever get addressed?
I'm spinning around and around trying to get the iTunes store to accept my password. I'm just about to give up on Apple altogether here.
Exactly the same for me. I could sign into this thread with my ID and password but can't redeem anything with the very same password in itunes... stuff like this just exasperates me and there's no documented solution that I can find 😮
OK I forgot to post what fixed my problem.
I had to go to (Edit?) Payment Information in iTunes and re-entre my Credit Card's 3 digit Security Code

Try going to Safari Prefrences and make sure under the Privicy setting make sure that under block cookies that you select from third parties and advertisers.

Is Apple too clever for it's own good? Same problems as above, have reset password many times, until eventually it worked. Tried to update itunes, it said it was interupted. Rebooted pc, tried to login again, the new password which worked before reboot... no longer works. How can so many people have a problem and apple not do anything about it?
