Buffalo Tech has uploaded new firmware that addresses the iTunes 10.5 issue of not being able to use Buffalo NAS devices as iTunes servers. I've tested the upgraded firmware (1.56) with a LinkStation LS-CH1.0TL-V2 in the latest version of iTunes to date (10.5.2) and it works again like it did with iTunes 10.4.

Good to hear, I'm just curious how long it takes for this firmware to install, its been going for an hour now and says please dont close or refresh this window. Under progress it just states update has started. lol, would hate to lose 1tb of media files over a firmware update
I also have a 1TB NAS, but it didn't take an hour. More like half an hour and I did do it over a wireless connection from my MacBook, though the NAS itself is wired to the router.
