iCal Update

My iCal calendar on my iMac will not update automatically to my iPhone 4S with iCloud. Any suggestions?

iMac i5/27/2.66GHz, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 8 Gb Ram, Internal 100Tb, External 250 Gb.

Phil,

You are using Mac OS X 10.6.8. Since iCloud requires Mac OS X 10.7.2, you will have to upgrade your iMac to Lion.
