My iPad keeps shutting down( safari and apps). Earlier it used to be once or twice a day but now will not allow me to open the safari browser.

Try reset your ipad. Hold down the Sleep and Home button for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

Try a Reset...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

You shouldn't if you Restore from Backup and are using the computer you usually Sync with...

Log into iTunes using the account the Purchase was made with... Click on Buy... and a notice will come up saying you already have it... do you wish to download it again... Click Yes...
select and click Restore on the Summary pane. This should take care of the back up? Nervous now.....will do and let you know how I get along with the issue of ipad and my data being safe! Thanks again for help.

I have two iTunes account, one was an old one and later when i bought a new MacAIR i set up another account. Can i transfer apps from one account to another?

If you mean you used 2 different Apple IDs to make Purchases... Then, unfortunately they cannot be merged...
Whatever was purchased with whichever ID is locked to that ID...
