why does wallpaper setting show black screen

Does anyone else have the same problem I'm having with my iPhone 4S? When I go into setting, then wallpapers. My phone doesnt show me any of the stock wallpapers. It just shows me a black screen so I have to use one of my pictures as a wallpaper. I have already went into setting and did a Erase all content and settings. This did not fix the problem. Please help!

Yes my screen does have that little white corner that looks like where the wallpapers stop. This crap ****** me of! I pay hard earned money for this and I don't want to update my software because it depreciates the value of my phone in the long run. I would like to sale this later to someone who wants to unlock it. They sale for twice as much it there not updated. I know all apple is going to say is try updating your software. Shouldn't have to! I should be able to return this damm phone and get out of my contract!

Hey I called Apple and they said the only way to fix the problem is to go into Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. The Problem with this is you will have to set your phone up as new! You will lose all of your recent calls, messages, etc... and have to start all your games over. They said its a problem with your back up. You can try an earlier backup but will still lose everything back to that date. Im kinda ****** cause everything was fine untill I updated to itunes 10.0 Now everything is messed up! Just make sure you make a backup by right clicking on your device before you do this. Thats the only way to get everythiing back just incase you lost something you needed. Hope this helps!
