Repeating Reminders can't be completed in iCal

It seems that if I create a Reminder on my iPhone 4S that repeats, I cannot check this Reminder as completed within iCal on my MacBook Pro. It will not allow me to check within the Reminders listing on the right side nor within the Reminder info window if opened. The only manner to check the Reminder as complete is on the iPhone.

In addition, you cannot edit the Reminder in iCal if it was created on the iPhone. About the only thing you can do in iCal is delete the task. This all is a bit puzzling but I could accept it; however, not being able to even check the Reminder as completed within iCal seems unacceptable.

I have the same problem. the new reminders feature was high on my list of things I was looking forward to using in my practice... and it is turning out to be useless as is.

Need to be able to edit and complete tasks on both iCal and iPhone

I have same issue- one of my reminders that used to go off daily at 10:30 am is suddenly going off at 2:30 am and I cannot delete it. for now I have to turn my ringer off at night so it doesnt wake me. Apple needs to fix this issue - and soon.

Well, if you've seen the preview of the next Apple Mac OS X, Mountain Lion, then you know that a Mac version of Reminders is coming. That will probably negate the feature within iCal and allow editing and/or completing tasks on our Macs, regardless of where the task originated.

Thanks, I've been gradually moving from LifeBalance, and need Reminders to work on both iPhone and iCal. Also using Bento - so I hope these continue to improve and be integrated... this is why I use all things Mac.
