iCloud forwarding is broken
iCloud forwarding of email is broken (as of 16 Dec 2011 9 PM PST). Anyone have status or advice? (The email is available on iCloud.com but not forwarded to my gmail account).

Rules for messages in iCloud preferences not working.Maybe that's the problem! The system is not applying the preferences (including the forwarding ones).
I have forwarding turned off now and my wife said she sent me 4 email messages this morning. I only got 3 of them. Maybe there's some larger issue here?
Ever since I have migrated to iCloud every aspect has been a bad experience (except iTunes Match). A week ago I made the decision to get my own domain and direct it to a Google Business account for gmail as I needed reliable server-side rules.
Now I can't even forward any @mac or @me emails I get to my new email address.
This is a PAID service.. I assume they would have fixed this by now and even their "help page" does not exist.
I've never experienced this bad of a service from Apple with .mac nor MobileMe..
Like you, i only have problems with icloud this is the reason i made rules and forwarding to Gmail account.
Forwarding is broken several days (6-7) and apple is doing nothing.
This is not the excellence that we are paying.
Still no reply from Apple...I can't beleave it!
I went through the pain in the last hour of going to each web service I signed up for.. Facebook, Financial Accounts, etc and switched it all to my Gmail Business Account.. going to reduce as much direct traffic to iCloud possible.
Supringsly all these web services allowed me to change my ID / Email address but I can't even change my Apple ID email!
Forwarding to any email address is broken. It's now almost 48 hours....
just a +1 for me. from what i can tell, forwarding broke for me in the past 24ish hours - possibly longer.
I have a sub-account set up for my mother, and it is set up for automatic forwarding.
The forwarding has not been working since 12/16, and continues not to work. I have tried turning off the forwarding, then going back to re turn on the forwarding.
As others have stated, I have been a .mac paying customer since before mobileme, and before icloud.
same boat here folks. this is the 3rd time for me that Apple has had MAJOR issues with iCloud. I am about to have to switch to other services. I CANNOT have this again. This is crazy, get your crap together Apple or don't go into the email account business.

Been on phone with appple care, they have not been very helpfull, i am disappointed!

I just spent a while on the phone with Support, but he needs to talk to somebody in iCloud/MobileMe support...and I got there through the iCloud Express Lane. So, we'll see what happens. I have a case number too.
i was on phone too, they finall agreed to take it up a level and then i got cut off on the phone line 😟
I'm guessing the iCloud "team" is gone for the weekend....maybe they'll get around to looking at it before Christmas if we're lucky.....
