Safari Bookmarks & Notes NOT updating on my Mac Mini

I don't get it. I just entered a calendar appooitment on my my Iphone and voila, its in the Ical on my Lion based Mac Mini . Great!

But for some reason both my "Notes" and my Safari bookmarks (in sync on my Ipad and Iphone) are not being updated on my desktop. All the setting are correct ( I have "checked" all the boxes in system preferences on all the hardware)

I have even done a forced manual backups on both the Iphone and Ipad and the those updates show up on the mac-mini as having been done in the "Icloud" system preferences tab on the mac-mini)

But both the bookmarks and "notes" on my mac-mini haven't changed. They are not being updated.

What am i doing wrong?
