Slide to set up, it will take you through the process
iʻve done it a couple of times and it show (in itunes) that it doesn't have sim but it has.. help!! 😢
Try these steps...
-Remove the SIM card.
-Verify that the SIM card is not damaged or dirty, then reinstall the SIM card.
-Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
-Wait approximately two minutes, then see if iPhone detects the SIM card and if it will register on the network.
-If that doesn't work, try another SIM card for that carrier, if possible, to see if it is detected.
-If the message still exists, please go to: apple.com/support/iphone/service/faq/ for information on service.
You may need to restore your phone... http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
iʻve tried another sim but itʻs still the same.. iʻve also tried to off & open it..
You may need to get a replacement phone....try restoring the phone, see if getting a fresh copy of the operating system helps. if not, you may need to go into the apple store to see what may be the problem....apple.com/retail/geniusbar
What do you mean by open it?
iPhone 3G can't run iOS 5. I guess you talk about an iPhone 3GS?
i mean turn it on again.. sorry.. if i go to apple store i will need money to pay.. and my mom will scold me non-stop..
It's free to go to the Apple store and have them take a look at the phone...and where this issue was caused soley by the update to ios 5 you may not even have to pay for a replacement. you could always call 1-800-MY-IPHONE and see if there's a fix for it, or what they can do to you. You've not done anything wrong, all you did was install an update. Don't worry about getting scolded, this isn't your fault =]
what do you mean by replacement? eventhough it's not my fault she'll still scold me..she'll blame because of my stupidity.. she will tell me that iʻm being stupid again.. 😢
=[ you're not stupid, sweetheart. you were just doing what you were supposed to do by updating your software. i cant guarentee anything, but since this problem was caused by the update, you may be able to get a replacement phone, so basically another phone in exchange for your broken one, free of charge.
my mom already knew about it.. and as expected she told me that iʻm stupid.. my visions are getting blurred because of crying.. how would i get the replacement? what will i say there at apple store?? she keep on asking me what will i do & i don't know what to say.. 😢
Make your first step calling Tech Support...if you live in the US the number is 1-800-My-Iphone. Tell them what is going on and all that you've done to resolve the issue, see what they can do for you. they may be able to get you set up for a replacement over the phone. if you go to an apple store, theyll have a look at the phone and determine if its an issue with the phone caused by the update...but id call tech support first if i was you
