A new one. Brand new.
The replacement may be new or refurbished. You should not be able to tell the difference and it will carry the same warranty the original had or 90 days, whichever is longer.

oh i just read the other post! **** it - but if you got the iphone 4s - they will give you the 4s and not the 4 or 3g or something right.
Whatever model you give them, they give you back.
