How to remove angry birds from update list in app store?

I get that game there without downloading it, i can't find it in my application folder and when I want to update it I get and error saying that I can update it if I sign in to this ********** which I don't know. What should this mean? I never downloaded that game. And how come this was downloaded by another app store account? Am the only one who uses this computer and I never entered that account name.

If you are getting that message to sign in at that mail.ru account, it means that you or someone with access to your computer downloaded a pirated app, like Final Cut Pro, for example.

In order to get your app store working for your own user again, delete the pirated app and you should be good to go. In the future, make sure not to download apps you don't pay for, as a lot of them may have some unpleasant surprises in them

Hey there M.b,

You got me there 😉, Your solution worked well.

I'd like to point out what I did: first of all I quited the Appstore app, then I removed the pirated application (Final Cut pro in my case) and all the files related to it (using a free app called "appcleaner"). After that as Carolyn suggested I went to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore and removed the Cache.db file.

After this you can open the appstore normally and you'll have the update removed.

Thanks M.B and Carolyn for the help 🙂
