RSS feed has double entries

Question

My RSS page for my blog has two entries for February 2. There is no apparent reason why and I am at a loss as to how to fix this.

iMac 1.25, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I guess I didn't need to fix it. Though it persisted for days, all of a sudden it disappeared. A little weird, that.

The "solution" was to try lots of things that did not work, followed by a day or so of doing nothing—and having the problem go away.
