Trashing prefs on OS 10.7

On my new OS, I cannot find a com.apple.finalcutpro.plist.

Nor can I find Final Cut Pro obj cache in Preferences.

This is the first time i've had to trash prefs on this new iMac and the files aren't even in the preferences folder .

Deadline looming - thanks for any advice.

10.7 hides the Library folder in your user name directory but you can bring it back permanently by entering the following command into Terminal:

chflags nohidden ~/Library

Press Return to complete the procedure.

If you only want temporary access, bring Finder to the front and the hold the Option key (marked "alt" on some keyboards) while clicking on the Go menu bar item. Select the Library from the drop down menu.
