whenever i try to view x ray through a remote connection from my hospital ,i get a massage saying this screen is set to view 6345669 ,?? color ,need to adjust to 32 or 24 Bit to be able to view x rays /ct scan /mri ??

I've never been able to view anything given to me by a hospital, Xray, Scans, etc - I have assumed that the software is Windows proprietary format because other doctor's offices can see it on their PCs, but it wont work on my Mac.
