my trackpad has been non-cooperative. What can I do?

I just got the new lion upgrade for my macbook pro, and recently my trackpad is unresponsive/non-cooperative. It is very slow in dragging (and yes I tried the different speeds of the mouse movement), it opens up new windows, it randomly zooms in, it goes back on internet. I don't know what to do! Any suggestions?
