Utilities > Grab > Capture > Selection
I'm having a hard time grabbing a picture of an area I selected. No captures pops up. How do I fix this?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 13.3"

Shift-Command 4, hold down your mouse button and outline what you want, release the mouse button, and your capture will be on your desktop.
