Hardware SSD encryption support for Macbooks?

Does any Macbook Pro models support SSD's with hardware encryption?

Software encryption, which FileVault apparently is, is not good performance-wise and not good for SSD lifespan.

Intel is offering it's SSD 320 level with strong AES-256 encryption and hashed passwords, but apparently enabling this support needs BIOS support and Macbooks don't have BIOS...
