"The feed has no episodes" WHAT?The Creation Of My Feed Took About 7 Hours!

I did not know getting a podcast on itunes was this hard. Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7 O,Clock AM, i started to enable my feed and followed every single step to get my popular YouTube videos,on Podcast.I went through Validating my feed to using Google's "FeedBurner" and even formating a video (or as iTunes would call it an "Episode"). After all of the hard work I submitted my RSS Feed in the iTunes Podcast Submission Page. After about 7 HOURS a red sentence saying"The feed has no episodes",drove me insane! I checked my feed and couldn't find a single issue,so I E-Mailed FeedBurner about this fustrating issue...but never got a responce yet! Some please correct me if ive done something wrong PLEASE!!!!!! Im just so upset that all my work will be a waist>:(

Your feed has no episodes with 'enclosure' tags containing the URLs of playable media; these are required for iTunes, which does not display any episodes without playable media. Furthermore your feed does not have the required 'iTunes declaration' at the top - in effect it is a weblog feed, not a podcast feed.

You are using Blogger: you must set the feed up to be a podcast (presumably there is a setting for this, unless it's automatic when you add media - I can't advise on this).

Playable media must be mp3, m4a (audio), m4v, mp4 or mov (video) - you cannot use YouTube videos.

This page contains basic information about creating a podcast, including a basic sample feed, which may help you to understand the situation:

I have feedburner feeds.

I was able to create my audio podcast without problem

But have been unable to get itrunes to accept a video version of the same podcast.

have changed several things to make them (audio & video) look different.

At least I've gotten past the duplicate podcast error.

but now I consistently get the "feed has no episodes".

What are the 'enclosure' tags?

do you have an example of a feed with them?

again, the audio feed was easily added to itunes using feedburner info.

Your audio podcast works OK and can be subscribed to in iTunes. It has the links to the mp3 files embedded in the 'description' tags (which iTunes does not read) but it does also have the 'enclosure' tags which are necessary for iTunes. It is however lacking some other iTunes tags, most importantly 'itunes:duration' which allows iTunes to know the length of the episodes: however it will work without these.

However your video podcast, which again contains the links to the mp4 files in the 'description' tags, does not have the 'enclosure' tags. You can see a description of the 'enclosure' tag here:

however this is just for your information as you can't presumably access the feed to add them manually. Whatever you did to make the audio feed work is what you need to do to make the video feed work.
