Black Screen while streaming from Apple Tv

Hi,

I have a 1st gen Apple Tv 32GB and the software version is 3.0.2, I am having problem while streaming the content from my mac to the apple tv. In Apple tv when i click shared library and click a movie name all i see is a black screen and hear the audio from the video. I tried changing wireless networks, changing the resolution and i still don't see a video. Any ideas what the issue is? I handbraked some p90x DVD's that i had into Apple TV format ".m4v" and plays fine when it is synced to the apple tv. Since the hard capacity is limited to 32 Gb i can't sync all my videos to the apple and have to stream it. Thanks in advance for any replies.
