Q: my macbook freezes!

Hello,

 

Recently my macbook running Lion 10.7.2 freezes everytime I don't use the mouse or keyboard for a couple of minutes!

This occurs both with the USB input devices as well as the built-in ones. And, it happens every time!

 

I don't know what might be the reason for this, except the Lion upgrade perhaps. Before then I never had the issue.

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

    softwater, I've finally managed to freshly reinstall lion as you recommended (in the post about

    defaults write com.apple.DiskUtility DUDebugMenuEnabled 1).

    Unfortunately the system froze twice already!

     

    Does this mean Lion (10.7.3) is not for my macbook?

    the freezing still occurs on Snow Leopard. Almost at every Skype call.

    Even when I remove the SSD drive and put the original HD drive in, and boot from a usb stick the macbook freezes while I try to create a 2nd partition on the HD drive (to install the OS on).
