You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

Are you connected to he Internet when you try to play the rental?

My video won't play either.

I'm working on my last chapter of my senior thesis and I've been having issues with Amazon Instant Video so I downloaded all the videos for my film chapter on itunes rental video... it took FOREVER to download and when I started watching it, the video froze less than half way through. I re-started itunes and the video had to download all over again and now it won't start at all!!!! The clock is ticking both on my 24-hour rental AND on my thesis chapter!!!!

I have the newest version of Quicktime, my apple account works fine, and it's not a firewall issue.... how can I solve this??
