How do you find the iPad phone number for cellular data?

POnce we completed setting up the data plan the cellular number populated just like you indicated. Guess we were getting ahead of ourselves. My iPad was set up in the store, so I was of no help on the second iPod in the house. We are all set for hoilday trip. Thanks for the info.

Goto settings>general>about >mobile data no...... Some providers may not show the no.
A "surefire" way of doing that is to call your data provider customer service and ask them what it is. In my case, they sent me an e-mail (right away, when signing up) saying what the number was.
I know this post was a long time ago but people still seem to be viewing it.
Quickest way:
Via the iPad on 3G, go to http://m.telstra.com. The service number is then displayed and you are given the option to recharge.
