Can I change my email on Discussions without changing my Apple ID? I have a MobileMe account and no longer want to use my gmail account that is listed under Discussions name.

Note that Apple has one ID for all points of access to the Apple web site (store and so forth).

I have an Apple ID for all my Apple accounts such as iTunes, Store, Apps.
However, for Discussions my Apple ID is different and so is my email.
I don't think I can change this without totally messing up my Discussions log-in. Nor do I want to create a new Discussion name. I was simply curious to see if someone else knew about this unusual situtation and had a remedy.
Can I change my email on Discussions without changing my Apple ID?
