Conde naste subscriptions error during download

Seems like whenever a new conde naste magazine appears on newstand, for several days I get an error during download message "Cannot start the download because the file is missing or invalid." This continues for hours/days, until finally at some point the magazine downloads. Only seems to happen with conde naste titles: GQ, Allure, Vanity Fair.

My question: anyone having this problem, know how to resolve. And I have looked everywhere for subsription contacts for problems like this and I can't seem to find a resource to complain to.

I'm having the same issue. I tried logging out and back in again, tried deleting the magazine and adding it again. Nothing seems to help. I'm also having this problem when trying to re-download a back issue I had previously archived. This newsstand app is not ready for prime time. Now I see why people still buy Nook and Kindle.

Another option for buying magazines on iPad is Zinio. For my tastes, it's fantastic and magazines download fast and it never has any issues. The app is free and you set it up with your Apple ID and when you purchase, the charges go through your Store account.

I am having the same issue. With GQ, Vanity Fair and Architectural Digest. Unable to restore purchases stating that it has failed. Also I cannot even download free magazines saying that I have no internet connection, I have tried uninstalling and installing the application and that does not work, any advice on a fix?
