Configure /etc/paths
Hello,
I was annoyed that /usr/bin had priority over /usr/local/bin so I wanted to change this fact.
To be more in the context, I have xcode which includes an old version of git in /usr/bin, and I've got homebrew which installs the latest version of git in /usr/local/bin.
Though, when I typed the command git, it was those /usr/bin which was used.
So I changed in /etc/paths the order between /usr/bin and /usr/local/bin and now /usr/local/bin is the first one, and everything is ok.
But a friend of mine told me it was a kind of fail security. I'd like to have your advice about it? What do you think?
Thanks.
