After Lion upgrade, no VMWare Fusion icon

I DESPERATELY need to reach Windows programs usually accessed through VMWare Fusion software. It's end of year & I need my Quicken data! I just upgraded to Lion about a week ago & tonight looked for my VMWare Fusion icon to access Quicken. Nothing there anymore - no VMWare icon. I have my Windows Quicken data, Windows Word Perfect documents & Windows-version Word documents on that "partitioned" area which is now unreachable.

I did not notice any "warnings" about upgrading to Lion & its effect on partitioning software. While I can navigate simple day-to-day usage of my MacBook Pro, it's still new to me & my husband's IT man installed the VMWare software (which has worked beautifully until now). He's now 2800 miles away & I'm in a small rural town 3 hours (6 hour

rountrip) from an Apple store - not that they'd probably help with this software situation.

Anyone out there know where my Windows info is? I'm afraid of what the answer might be...and there's no loonie bin in this small town! 😉
