kernel panic

Question

Hi,I have been having kernel panics ever since I got Lion... At first i ignored them, as they would happen every other week, but then it get too annoying! i would realy appreciate if someone can diagnose what is causing kernel panic based on the log. here is one of the latest kernel panic logs. That&#x27;s not the whole panic log, but the extract shows that your Parallels installation is outdated. You also have an Ambrosia audio driver of some kind installed. Either uninstall or update both and see whether there&#x27;s an improvement.

Thanks for a quick reply Linc! Can you please explain how you deduced that the problem is with Paralles and Ambrosia? I have good copy of Prallels 6.0 and two ambrisia products: Snapz pro and Wiretap studio. First, please don&#x27;t post any more panic logs. They don&#x27;t help.Can you please explain how you deduced that the problem is with Paralles and Ambrosia?Kernel panics are often, but not always, caused by third-party kernel extensions. Those are the ones you have. It&#x27;s not certain that either one is at fault, but you have to rule them out.I have good copy of Prallels 6.0 and two ambrisia products: Snapz pro and Wiretap studio. Any idea which one of these is causing the kernel panic?Wiretap Studio is the suspect.
