My iMAC won't allow me to print using my Canon ip5000 printer

I recently upgraded to the latest iMAC, which is great. However, it won't allow me to print via my Canon ip5000.

The printer is recognised by the MAC but won't print. Any ideas?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), Canon Printer IP5000
