I want to sync my RSS feeds (currently stored in Mail) across my Macs, is this possible with iCloud?
I would like to keep my read/unread status etc of each article.
I would prefer to continue using Mail, but if not and this is possible using Safari that's fine.
Any comments?

Safari would be the way to go here. If you really wanted to, you could just set up Google Reader to handle your RSS feeds, that way, they're wherever you can take an internet connection. At this time, mail cannot sync feeds.
Would Safari remember which articles (highlighted/unhighleted) I've read and not read between devices?
I'm not 100% sure on that. but you could just demo it and see how it works. If it doesn't, Google Reader works great until Apple provides RSS syncing.

I'm not 100% sure if this would be what you wanted, but it's advertised as being able to sync across all of your Macs/iOS devices. It's a free app, so you're really out nothing for trying it. I'm rather curious, myself.
