Getting Started

Trying to get started by choosing a network and password. System keeps locking up with continuous hourglass. How do I reset?

iPad 2, Windows XP

Reset...

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

I tried that. When it comes back on...still hourglass. I don't know if I even entered the correct password. The hourglass has been going for about 2 hours now.
