Q: Replace tubes in 30" HD display?

I have a 30" Cinema HD display that has gradually dimmed over the years. The loss of brightness is uniform, there is no flickering, and it's not throwing an error code. I assume this is due to aging of the backlight tubes. Has anyone had success replacing the tubes, and if so, how?

    Advanced apologies for "Hijacking" your post, I was unable to figure out the method to message you in a more private method.  I was curious as to where you acquired your extensive and amazingly accurate base of knowledge re: computers? is it favored more towards Linux/Macs?  Thank you again for your time and response.
