hey i have got a problem in system preferences i opened system preferences this mornig and tried to change my background as normal while changing the background i tried to take a background picture of my iphoto libary but then system preferences stucked and now i can do nothing in system preferences anymore i get this wheel and i cant use the programm any more i tried to delete the caches and the i tried to reset the ram (holding cmd+alt+p+r) while booting didn`t help here is a picture which shows what it looks like when i open system preferences there is this pinwheel which says "bilder laden" sorry its german means loading pictures from iphoto but its not loading them it is just freezing so please help !!!Bildschirmfoto 2011-12-24 um 19.17.20.png

    having the same issue, and it did appear this morning trying to change my wallpaper. so i did delete that desktop and created a new one.. and the system preferences started to work properly.

    Quit System Preferences (force quit if necessary.)


    In the Finder, hold down the option key and select Go > Library from the menu bar. From the Library folder, delete the following item:




    Relaunch System Preferences while holding down the shift key.
