All my application templates are in Latin e.g. for pages, word, etc.. How do I change them to English?

At least you get a cigar for recognising it and not going into a panic.

The worst guess we have had here is swedish, most are "some foreign language".

If you don't like the way a template works you are free to change it and add it to your own set of My Templates in the Template Chooser.

There are two schools of thought on templates.

1. The Pro Designer does not want to lead the intent of the user so makes it non-intelligible. If you can't read it it won't bother you to change it to anything else. The other part to this is we do not all speak the same language, latin solves this by being a dead language and offends or distracts no one, except those who believe Cicero should not have been so misquoted.

2. The Amateur who wants to be lead every step, do this, put this here etc. The trouble with this it works only to the extent of what you suggest. Obviously name here, address here works. More generalised material doesn't and like a sausage waved in front of a dog, people get fixated and can't think flexibly once the initial suggestion has been made. Also I think the "color" of the page is disrupted when unnatural text is used like "Your Company Here".

I see lots of really bad material being distributed. With most of the templates you have to clear the junk off first, just to see what it really looks like without all the distractions.

Si vitare possumus accipere mutuum ab auctoritate veterum stilo Cicero:

Attice

Hoc erat in turpis.

In festis II Santa me et abii ad novam avia currum posuere. Fecit mihi magna sandwiches et tortor. Donec egit in litore. Pelago conchae inveni. Ego ad aurem meam posuit me audire posset in mare.

I prosiluit ac saxa in aquam. Admodum frigida erat. Ait ostende mihi ne in laoreet pretium scelerisque. Sed nec usquam.

Avus meus toy curru certa gladiatorum. Ille effusus in erat tunica picta et nova. Effusus est dixit optimum habens de avia non est.

Donec a domo avia currum vidimus accidens. Vir erat iurare in equis puto autem togam got caught in rotis. Puto enim te urget toga stupidi labore currum. Tata iuris ministrabat ei dixit.

Puto magis fun in domo avia. Spero brevi illuc imus.

Signatum cicer parvulus vester
