I have a copy of the Shake 3 Apple Pro Training Series book from 2004. It comes with a CD-ROM containing the installer for Shake 3.0.

On page 6 of the book, it says the reader can download a 30-Day Free License for Shake from:

http://shake.apple.com/shakedemo

Of course this link has long since been disabled, and apparently the software won't work without a license. Is the 30-Day Free License still available from anywhere else?

Many thanks.

No, the only place you can legally get any copy of Shake is buying or borrowing from another user.

Shake (the latest version was 4.1.1) is amazing special effects and compositing software. You'll love it. I see copies available on eBay now.
