How do I change my iPad safari bar color?

So, my grandma got a iPad this last Thanksgiving. Now that it's Christmas time she came back over and when I was showing her some more stuff and I realized that the bar on the top of the screen in safari is completely black and it looks so cool!!! So for the last 3 days I've been going nuts trying to find out how you do that on mine! I've searched yahoo, ehow, the iPad user guide, and the whole apple support communities! NOTHING!!The only difference is that my operating system is iOS 5.0.1 and her's is 5.0 and we both have iPad2s. Please help.

I cannot seem to turn my iPad safari bar to the previous color of white after it was somehow changed to black. I looked under the Safari in settings and could not find a place for turning on and off private browsing. Any suggestions??? This is an older iPad I believe it is iPad 2.

It's changed in the 5 years since this thread was started. Tap on the two squares icon top right of Safari, to the right of the '+', and on the next screen there should be a Private button towards the top right - tap that to turn Private browsing off, and then tap Done
