"one or more application is using itunes scripting interface"
Everytime I exit itunes, a windows pops up saying that message. How do I get rid of it? I don't know any programs that maybe using itunes scripting interface. Please help.
i don't have any plug-ins for itunes...just installed it straight from the site...the only thing java or javascript...is for my azureus program....not sure if that's linked up somehow...don't think i have any other programs that would affect itunes.
thanks for the reply...i don't think it's azureus...cuz once i start windows....i open itunes first...before anything else...im guessing it has to be a process that automatically starts before i open itunes...its not that big of a deal....just annoying to have that when i exit itunes...maybe an updated version will come out that will fix this.
well, you're the first one I''m seen reporting this, so that makes me think it is unique to your PC. So I doubt an updated iTunes version is going to "fix" this.
The way to find things like this is by using MSCONFIG as explained in these directions. But it is tedious to find it, requires a lot of PC restarting. You said it's not a big deal, so you might not want to spend the time.
I was having the same problem, i found it to be Logitech SetPoint software for my diNovo keyboard and mouse. Try upgrading to the new iTunes it fixed my problem.
I have the same problem... just shut down setpoint.exe and itunes now closes out just fine. (iTunes 6.0.1.3) I'm now going to try the upgrade (though I am still mad about Apple slipping in the DRM in the 6.0 upgrade without clearly telling anyone - I'm not a music stealer, but it made a mess of my collection and I don't like being help captive like this without clear consent!!)
Thanks to Chase Hansen for the hint about DiNovo keyboard being the problem!! It works!!
